Boxwood sections remain straight with smooth surfaces and no cracks, splits, or separation at the folds. Marked “STANLEY RULE \u0026amp; LEVEL CO,” “WARRANTED,” “NEW BRITAIN CONN USA,” and “BOXWOOD,” all clear and legible. Graduations remain dark and readable across all four sections, 1\/8-inch on one side and 1\/16 on the other. Brass hinge and end caps show minor surface tarnish, with no bends, looseness, or loss of integrity. Joints are tight and secure; rule folds and unfolds easily and holds position firmly when extended. Rule has been lightly cleaned and polished.
