A charming set of (3) vintage steel English stirrup cups in a brown leather case. Case is 2-3/4” high and cups are 2” - just enough for a wee dram of your favorite tipple. Cups show minor tarnishing due to age but overall, the set is in very good vintage condition and would display beautifully.
Stirrup cups (containing an alcoholic drink) are traditionally offered to horsemen “in the stirrups” before they ride away (perhaps with the hunt.) This would make an ideal set for camping, picnics, or a day at the beach. Cheers!
