For the tastemaker … a distinctive set of four sturdy mid-century German Römer “beehive” cordial glasses. Standing just 3 inches tall, each features a clear bowl perched on a classic green beehive stem—ideal for aperitifs, liqueurs, or perhaps a splash of Schnaps. Radiating vintage style, they’d make a versatile addition to a gentleman’s home bar or cocktail tray. Prost!
Römer glasses trace their roots to 15th-century Germany, where they originated in the Rhineland for sipping white wine. The green stem helped conceal any sediment, while the beehive ridges offered a firm grip. These miniature versions, likely from the 1960s, carry that same tradition forward with vintage flair. (Sorry, liqueurs not included.)
Dimensions: 3” H x 1-3/4” W (opening) x 2-1/8 W (base)
Weight (Set): 15.4 oz.
Condition notes: All four glasses are all in excellent vintage condition, free of chips, cracks, or clouding. Hand-washing recommended.
