For the well-dressed man … a vintage English stitched leather stud box containing an assortment of 18 original collar studs of various materials. Precise age is difficult to ascertain … studs were used for fixing detachable collars to shirts starting in the mid-1800s through the first half of the 20th century. Materials here appear to include colored enamel and mother of pearl. A perfectly functional item and a great conversation piece.
