For the wine-lover …  a large vintage English silver-plated wine coaster featuring a bright, mirror-polished finish, rope-twist rim, and turned hardwood base with concentric ring detail. Measuring 6-5/8" in diameter, it’s sized to accommodate nearly any bottle with ease—up to and including champagne or even magnums.  An ideal addition to the holiday table and a fine gift for the gentleman host.

Wine coasters are the perfect blend of style and practicality—adding a touch of refinement to the table while protecting surfaces from drips and rings. This example’s clean design and larger scale make it the perfect piece for dinner parties and as a display piece on a sideboard or drinks cart.

Condition Notes: Overall in excellent vintage condition, with only minimal signs of age and gentle use. Silver-plated surface retains a bright, mirror finish and responds well to polish. Turned hardwood base remains smooth and evenly toned with well-defined concentric rings and no cracks or lifting. Small, shallow dent to inner rim (see photos) and a few minor surface marks and areas of tarnish visible only under close inspection. Green baize backing is intact and securely affixed.
