Royal Doulton Georgian Double Old Fashioned Glasses | Pair of English Cut Crystal Whiskey Tumblers

For the traditionalist … a matched pair of Royal Doulton double Old Fashioned whisky tumblers in the Georgian pattern, hand-cut English lead crystal glasses dating to around 1970–1990. Each features the classic Georgian cross-hatch and fan-cut motif with a deep star-cut base and rounded thumbprint facets at the lower bowl. In excellent condition, heavy in the hand, and beautifully refractive, these are proper gentleman’s barware and would be a striking addition to a sideboard or drinks tray.

The Georgian pattern is one of Royal Doulton’s most recognized crystal designs, produced in England using traditional mouth-blown and hand-cut methods with full lead content for brilliance and weight. Introduced during Doulton’s peak post-war crystal period, it was positioned as a premium domestic and giftware line, offered through high-end department stores as a direct competitor to Waterford and Stuart Crystal.

Condition notes: Excellent vintage condition overall with no scratches, nicks, cracks, or clouding visible. Crystal surfaces remain bright and clear with sharp, well-defined cutting throughout. Rims are clean and even with no chips or edge wear observed. Rims are flat-cut and evenly polished.  Both glasses bear clearly legible Royal Doulton crown marks to the base.
