Set of 3 Royal Doulton Prince Charles Cut Crystal Tumblers | Vintage 3-3/4” Whiskey Glasses

For the traditionalist … a charming set of three vintage Royal Doulton crystal tumblers in the Prince Charles pattern, featuring the cross-hatched diamonds and small fan cuts that define this classic style.  Measuring 3-3/4” tall, the glasses fit comfortably in the hand and are an ideal choice for a wee pour of your favorite spirit.  Slightly smaller than the standard old-fashioned glass, they’d make a versatile addition to a gentleman’s home bar or cocktail tray.

Royal Doulton, one of England’s most revered heritage brands, has been crafting fine ceramics and crystal since 1815. The Prince Charles pattern, introduced in the 1980s, was named in honor of the then Prince of Wales, and features three small fan cuts inspired by the prince’s heraldic badge of three ostrich feathers emerging from a coronet.  These smaller tumblers are less commonly found in standard catalogs, making them highly collectible.

Condition notes: Glasses are in excellent vintage condition, free of chips, cracks, or clouding. Cuts are crisp and clear, and rims are smooth to the touch. Each glass was originally etched on the base with “Royal Doulton England” and the company’s crown motif; however, consistent with age and gentle use, the visibility of these marks varies from one glass to the next.
