For the equestrian … a set of vintage steel English stirrup cups in a red Moroccan leather case. The case has a lovely patina and wear that speaks to days in the saddle, while the cups themselves are free of tarnish and bear only slight marks from being stacked.
Stirrup cups (containing an alcoholic drink) are traditionally offered to horsemen “in the stirrups” before they ride away (perhaps with the hunt.) These would also be ideal for hikes or picnics or any other occasion when a warming dose of your favorite tipple is called for. Cheers!
