For the outdoorsman … a pocket-size English horn corkscrew, possibly from the 1940s. A wee example of its type, measuring 3-1/2” across with a 2-1/8” worm – just the size for picnics or camping or weekends at the beach. Corkscrew has a sharp end and works smoothly with no wobble. Perfectly usable and in very good condition but would also display beautifully on a shelf or bar cart.
Condition notes: Slight tarnish to the worm consistent with age but mostly imperceptible. Handle is affixed solidly with no discernible wobble or movement. Sharp point. Visible crack at the top of handle is smooth with age and has no effect on structural integrity. Overall in very good vintage condition. See photos for more detail or contact us with questions.
