For the entertainer … an elegant mid-century cut crystal ice bucket, measuring 5-3/8 inches high and dating from the late 1960s to mid-1970s. Crafted with deep vertical cuts and a sharply defined starburst base, it features a ring of faceted panels around the lower body that catch and scatter light. The heavy crystal gives it a stable, confident presence that makes it a stylish addition to a gentleman’s bar cart or sideboard.
Cut and etched crystal of this type was a hallmark of late-1960s and 1970s cocktail-era glassware, pairing bold geometric cutting with restrained floral decoration. On our example, the pronounced base cutting, heavy rim, and crisp acid-etched garland make the piece equally suited to entertaining and everyday use.
